Spotlight on VIVA
Reception: Sunday, September 12, 2–4pm.
This unique exhibit brings together VIVA's Board of Directors & the 2010 Salon Artists in a collaborative showing of their best works. Exhibiting artists include:
Ruth Banarer, Norm Beal, Betty Beam, Donna Geist Buch, Teri Dryden, Sylvia Goulden, Beverly Grossman, Barbara Hope, Adele King, Susan Kuss, Dori Marler, Barbara Schade, John Paul Thornton, Bonese Collins Turner, Loraine Veeck, Dulcie Adams, Jason Brain, Selina Cheng, Lore Eckelberry, Debra Hintz, Susan Gesundheit, Walter Hurlburt, Christina Lynn Johnson, Stuart Kusher, Dale M'Hall, Kuniko Ruch, Marjorie Sarnat, and Dorothy Shepherd.

The Poet’s Gallery is an evening of poetry and art at VIVA Art Center, produced by Richard Herd, Dori Marler, and Carolyn Uhri.

Guest poet: Mike Sonksen
"Mike the Poet" is widely acclaimed for his live performances, contributions to international publications, & legendary city tours. Poet, journalist, historian, tour guide, teacher, he's published in L.A. City Beat, Wax Poetics, O.C. Weekly, New Angeles, L.A. Weekly and many others. This third-generation L.A. native graduated from U.C.L.A. in 1997.
Refreshments will be served before the reading. Admission is free and we welcome the public.
